12% of stocks have mktcap > 5000cr
Next 13% have mktcap betn 1000 to 5000 cr
While 59% of stocks listed have mktcap of < 200cr
Does the fall from resp. 52week high is similar across market cap? Let's find out !!
Mktcap > 5000cr
Only 5% stocks have a drawdown > 50%
Mktcap between 1000cr to 5000cr
9% of companies have a drawdown of >50%
Mktcap between 200cr to 1000cr
17% of companies have drawdown > 50%
Mktcap < 200cr
The worst affected 1/4th of the companies have >50% drawdown
Compare it to how the headline indices have fared from its 52week highs...
